1997–1997
Location: London, UK
Client: Hayward Gallery
Project Status: Exhibition Design

The subject of this exhibition was the work of the 1920s New Negro arts movement, known as the Harlem Renaissance. The exhibition contained paintings, sculpture, a wide range of archival material, video and sound. The design accommodated this broad range of media and scales of art arranged in a thematic manner, while working positively with the spaces of the Hayward Gallery.
