Caruso St John Architects
The practice has been designing exhibitions for over 20 years. This work has come about as a result of the partner’s deep interest in contemporary art and a love of museums. Out of this interest has developed a sensibility to the installation of art, the display of objects, and the organisation of information. The practice is interested in designing at all scales, and exhibitions can be seen as architecture at a small scale. Over the course of the last 20 years, the practice has designed many exhibitions for major institutions, small organisations, and for artists. Recent exhibition designs include “Defining Beauty” at the British Museum and “Palladio, the Good, the bad and the Unexpected” at the RIBA.
